But now we’re here, and there’s a lot of uncertainty and pensive turbulence underneath what seems like a relatively strong economy.
The problem is that it’s all built on unsustainable debt. When it will blow up is hard to say, but the underminings of something historically bad are there.
So how are you looking at 2020 and planning ahead?
Are you preparing like you would for an oncoming hurricane? What are you doing to protect yourself so you won’t just weather the storm, but come out on the other side in good shape? Most people aren’t even reading the tea leaves today and the media doesn’t do it for them. It’s going to be a bad situation when the shift happens.
Our theme at Freedom Founders recently has been The Big Shift – 2020 Vision. What is your vision? How are you positioning yourself? How are you protecting yourself? Are you being opportunistic in your specific areas of opportunity?
On the investment side, think of your positioning, access, and network. Do you know how to take care of the opportunities? With every major market cycle, there’s a wealth transfer. You can choose which side of that transfer you want to be on.
