Toward the end of 2018, we saw the markets become very volatile.
It’s no surprise to many people – myself included.
I’ve actually been predicting this for the last year and a half or so.
It’s important to remember that every cycle comes to an end.
How it happens, on what date, and how abruptly – no one can know that in advance.
That’s why I’ve been encouraging my members to move their money to “safe havens,” for months now.
Unfortunately the same people who say, “We can help you build wealth on Wall Street!” are also the first to say “When you retire, be protective of your money and get it out of Wall Street!”
I think that speaks pretty strongly to the volatility we are seeing.
I’ve been investing in real estate for nearly 40 years – real estate can certainly be susceptible to cycles, but you at least have multiple choices and can be very specific with your investments.
In the stock market, it’s very difficult.
You basically buy the market when you invest in mutual funds, indexes, etc.
However, the market can go up and then slam right back down.
In the last quarter, most people saw about 20% of their portfolio vanish.
Can you afford that kind of volatility?
Long term, I predict more difficulty in the markets going forward…I think we are going to see another recession.
If you’re in that place right now where you’ve had enough of Wall Street and its volatility, you need to find a new place to put your hard-earned money.
I’d advise you to hook up with a community that has people who have already done that.
