wo weeks ago, we had our 37th Freedom Founders community event.
The first began 12 years ago with a small band of renegade warriors who took the seed of an idea and turned it into a mission.
Fast forward to the present day, and attendees of this event have said it was the best one yet.
Vision and Legacy was the theme. We focused on what that meant for each of us and how we can begin to let that shape our monthly, weekly, and daily actions.
Every event is also an opportunity to review what we’re grateful for. I’m grateful for this family – the Freedom Founders team, our members, our Trusted Advisors – nonconformists, every one. Together, we are seeking the ultimate ROI – TIME. The Freedom to live and serve today – not waiting for some mythical someday or for the finality of “retirement” (which means ’to take out of service’).
I wanted to share a few of the highlights from this event with you.
#1 Over 45 NexGen Young Adults in Attendance
Over 45 young people joined us to be exposed to the vision and opportunities of abundance, with no filters or restrictions based on the dictates of an external world. That alone would have made the entire event worth it. They learned not only how to define their own freedom, but foundational principles about money, relationships, mentorship, and much more. There was an entire track throughout the weekend that focused specifically on serving these younger “NexGen” attendees.
#2 Record Number of Free For Life® Achievements
We also had the privilege of celebrating 4 amazing members who have achieved Freedom on their own terms. To hear their stories and see the speed at which they were able to achieve their goals was inspiring, and there are many more following close behind!

#3 Stress Testing Our Economic Models
We took time to Stress Test our models together – both in business and investing. Many of our Trusted Advisors took the stage to discuss where we are in the market cycle and the specific action steps they are taking to prepare for more volatility and uncertainty.
In short, we are heading towards a recession. This means you should be cautious where you put your money, but it also means that there will be opportunities to grow our wealth, provide value, and be a part of the movement that brings our economy out of a recession.

#4 Powerful Vision-Casting from Shaun McCloskey
Many members noted that Shaun was a highlight of the weekend. He offered a powerful framework for taking back control of your time and your future. As a “coach of coaches” and someone who has significantly impacted my own life, it was gratifying to see Shaun sharing this message to the full community. There was so much more… but time does not permit me to tell all of the stories. It’s in volatile times such as these that I am MOST grateful to be a part of such a braintrust of non-conformists. Volatility creates opportunities IF you are able to keep your head clear (don’t fall prey to the madness of the crowds) and have access to the right opportunities when they present themselves.
Freedom Founders is my best insurance policy. And the opportunity to share this “best kept secret” of a community with the next generation was incredibly fulfilling.
